Grillz Care

Custom grillz are made to fit your teeth precisely and should be handled with care.

Cleaning

  • Gently clean using a soft jewellery polishing cloth after each use
  • For deeper cleaning, use distilled water with a mild, non-abrasive soap
  • Lightly pat dry — do not rub aggressively

Important Notes

  • Do not use tap water, as it contains chemicals that can affect metals and finishes
  • Never soak your grillz for extended periods
  • Avoid all harsh chemicals, cleaning agents, and alcohol-based products

Wearing Guidelines

  • Remove before eating or drinking
  • Do not wear while sleeping or during physical activity
  • Avoid exposure to smoke, chemicals, or unnecessary pressure

Jewellery Care (Rings, Pendants, Chains)

All jewellery should be maintained regularly to preserve its shine and finish.

Cleaning

  • Use a soft polishing cloth to maintain shine
  • Clean occasionally with mild soap and distilled water if needed
  • Professional polishing is recommended for long-term upkeep

Material Considerations

  • 925 Silver: May naturally tarnish over time; store properly and clean regularly
  • Solid Gold (10ct / 14ct / 18ct): Durable but should still be protected from scratches and chemical exposure
  • Iced-Out Pieces: Avoid impact or pressure that may loosen stones

Storage

  • Store all pieces in a dry, enclosed space when not in use
  • Use an airtight container or jewellery box to reduce exposure to air and moisture
  • Keep items separated to prevent scratching

What to Avoid

  • Water exposure, especially chlorinated or salt water
  • Lotions, perfumes, and cleaning chemicals
  • Dropping, bending, or applying pressure to pieces
  • Leaving jewellery exposed to heat, humidity, or direct sunlight

Gold & Carats™ pieces are designed for durability, but improper care can affect their condition. Damage caused by misuse, poor maintenance, or failure to follow care guidelines is not covered under warranty. Lost or damaged items are not eligible for replacement or coverage.
